Almonds too are loaded with antioxidants so they help protect against stress that can damage your cells and contribute to inflammation and aging. They are high in healthy fats and a great source of fiber and protein.

Ingredients: Makes 12
1 ½ cups rolled oats
1 cup dates – pitted and pureed in a food processor
¼ cup honey
1-2 tsp raw cacao powder
½ cup chopped almonds
½ cup chocolate chips or sunflower seeds
Step 1: Toast the oats for 5-7 mins
Step 2: Add in the dry ingredients
Step 3: Add honey and dates to bind
Step 4: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and press firmly
Freeze for 15-20 mins
