Boost Your Brain Health

Dates help lower inflammation markers in the brain and lower plaque from forming

preventing diseases like Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Neurodegenerative diseases usually start slowly and gradually worsen over time. The most common symptoms are difficulty in remembering recent events, problems with language, disorientation, mood swings and loss of motivation. Risk factors like depression, head injuries and hypertension need to be mitigated through nutrition.

Dates are high in antioxidants, high in fibre and excellent natural sweeteners. Make this in advance of the afternoon sugar craving and take care of your brain.

Oats are gluten free and a great source of fibre and antioxidants. They contain essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium, iron, zinc and folate. They help reduce cholesterol, blood sugar levels, promote healthy gut bacteria and increase the feeling of fullness.

Almonds too are loaded with antioxidants so they help protect against stress that can damage your cells and contribute to inflammation and aging. They are high in healthy fats and a great source of fiber and protein.

They also contain high levels of vitamin E protecting against heart disease and cancer.
